Twenty years ago as I was getting in bed one night, I turned my head to the right and an experienced pain that I had never had before. I felt excruciating pain and electric shocks going down my right arm. When I woke up the next morning it was even worse. Being a chiropractor and owning the medical clinic I sought help from all of the providers that I had in my fingertips. Nothing would relieve discomfort. I had a friend who was a medical doctor and  went to seek out his advise. The first thing he said to me was “whatever you do don’t have surgery on your neck.  The outcomes are terrible.”

disc herniation2All these years I have had “pain as well as numbness in part of my arm and hand that has caused me to wake up several times during the night. I even have atrophy in the muscles of my right shoulder and arm from the constant nerve pressure. There are times when it is better but it never completely goes away. What I have is a chronic herniated disc in my neck. I have been searching all these years to find techniques or methods that would help improve my condition. I had for the most part given up on getting any relief.

Over the last year I have been investigating nonsurgical spinal decompression. Nonsurgical spinal decompression was invented by a medical doctor in Canada in late 1990’s. It is a computerized device that localizes specific disks and segments of the spine and uses a computerized pull with specific tension, angle, and oscillations to take pressure off of the disc and encourage the re-hydration of the disc which increases the space between the vertebrae thus relieving nerve pressure and pain.

This week we had our decompression unit installed in our office. I was excited to do my first decompression treatment to see how it would affect my injury of 17 years. Last night I slept completely through the night without waking up one time. I cannot remember the last  time that this is happened.  This is after just one decompression session! Typically, treatment protocols are for twenty to twenty five sessions over four to six weeks.

Since this technology has been around for so many years there have been many studies done to show how well it works. The success rate with spinal decompression is around 90%. It is known to be extremely safe and effective.

If you, your family, or anyone you know would like to find out that spinal decompression could be helpful in relieving pain in your neck, your back, your sciatic nerve, decompression before afternumbness or tingling in your legs or arms, I encourage you to check out nonsurgical spinal decompression.

We have prepared a free report that we can send to you but the best thing to do is to give us a call at 704–837–2420 and set up a no-cost consultation. If you’ve had x-rays and or MRI films made bring them with you so I can look at them. We can usually tell right away if this treatment will be right for you. You have nothing to loose and maybe the possibility of getting your life back.
