Pain is the number two reason that patients seek treatment from physicians (colds and flus are number one). It is the primary reason for trips to the hospital. Although medications can offer almost immediate relief, there can be substantial side effects.  So many patients seek us out searching for alternatives to medications or surgery. Fear of complication rates from these procedures or prior bad experiences are driving people to seek safer alternatives.

Here are some Modalities for Natural Pain Relief:

Cold laser therapy has been in growing use for the past 15-20 years.  I purchased my first laser 15 years ago.  It is probably the the most unique and versatile tool that I own.  When it comes to pain relief, cold laser is incredible.  Although it doesn’t necessarily offer immediate relief, it does however offer lasting relief.

See Cold Laser FAQ for more information.

Although constant or static magnetic fields can damage cells, pulsed magnetic fields can accelerate healing, sometimes very quickly.  Pulsed magnetic field therapy has been around a very long time and is quite well studied.  There are thousands of research papers on the efficacy of PEMF.

See PEMF for more information.

Natural anti inflammatory agents such as ginger, turmeric, rosemary and proteolytic enzymes are effective to reduce pain and inflammation.  They don’t reduce pain as quickly as anti inflammatory medications do, but they also don’t come with the dangers of those medications.

Chiropractic care has been around since 1895 and has a proven record for relieving back pain, neck pain, headaches and other structural problems.

See Chiropractic Techniques for more information.
